June 8-9, 2012 Annual Catholic Spirit-filled Conference at Gonzaga Prep

With his special gift for inner healing, Fr. Mike will help guide us in finding an answer to the question: "What is it that Jesus is asking of me?" and how healing and letting go of distractions can help us to hear His word more clearly. Fr. Mike will also delve into more serious obstacles to healing and help us clear them out of our lives.

In this Easter season this Renewal Ministry reminds me of the significance of the Holy season. May we all continue the spread of Easter peace....the shalom to the world....to all of creation as the scriptures tell us. ( try preaching to rocks and trees...it's fun and you never have to answer questions!)

I am looking forward to this years Inland Northwest Catholic Men’s retreat. It will be my 4Th with my Dad. The previous years have all been great and offered something different. I am sure this year will be another great one. The time spent away from the daily grind has always done wonders for my well being. There is also something to be said for the fellowship of my Brothers in Christ. I have been blessed by the wisdom that is present in the stories that are shared over a cup of coffee or meal. We also never know if God is calling us to be there for somebody else. We should always come with expectant faith, to be a blessing or to be blessed. Either way God will be glorified and we will be filled up with what we need. So if you have never been I would encourage you to try it. If you have been invite a friend, or Brother, Son, Dad. Hope to see you there

You have no idea how your Catholic Renewal conference Spokane 2011 Blessed me as a priest. YOU HAVE NO IDEA! Your faithful obedience to His call to " Come take my hand" is inspiration to me as a priest. The birth of Renewal is at hand.

To me recognizing the need for daily renewal is a sign of a maturing Christian walk. If I get in a complacent comfortable zone and am tempted to think.."been there, done that, accepted Him,etc". This is when I most realize I need Catholic Renewal Ministry! Where the hungry, needy,Spirit seeking faithful come for daily bread....daily renewal.

I have been reflecting on the recent conference and I have come to a few conclusions. People were blessed by Fr Miley, each other and the Holy Spirit . Every year our conferences offer the attendees just what they need. That being said, I feel there is something missing, what is going to take us to the next level- your input. To aid us in developing this ministry, I would like to encourage your thoughts and questions . There is a place for that right here in "Testimonials" to share with everyone or it can be sent directly to me. Help us make next years conference even better! Thanks & Blessings

Yo, Fr. Dan! We are all praying for you here in Othello. I'm so glad to hear that your injury was not as severe as originally thought. You are looking forward to next, too. I'm so glad. God is good; may He bless you richly!

Another annual retreat (my eight consecutive) and I am again "filled up". Each year I hear something from the speaker that leads me for the coming year. I meet new women friends that become part of the fabric of my life story. The music and songs touch that deepest part of my being with words that continue to flow long after the week-end is gone. The laughter (and tears) remind me that we walk together through this valley of tears and joyful experiences. Thank You , God for this great gift you give us every year.

Some things that happen in our lives that stay srong in our minds for days, could be our sports team winning a championship, a retreat, or whatever, listening to father miley was one of those and will be planted in me for the rest of my life.
